Although
this website is primarily dedicated to Rosario Football
Club we should not forget the Youth Club as a whole
which has been responsible for the development of the
soccer club over the years as well as many other sports
and activities.
Rosario
Youth Club is by far the largest youth club in South
and East Belfast. It has been in existence for approximately
50 years. It is based on the Ormeau Road and serves
as a cross community club, drawing young people from
a very wide area. Rosario Youth Club has a membership
of around 600 young people mainly from Ballynafeigh,
Rosetta and Lower Ormeau areas.
Any queries
to the youth club should be directed to youthclub@rosariofc.com

Earlier this
year the youth club opened it's doors after a £600,000
refurbishment. Above - Bishop Anthony Farquhar, surrounded
by local clergy, youth club members and workers, cuts
the tape at the official opening. The extensive makeover,
which includes three new rooms and an extension to the
clubs gym, was funded by the national lottery and peace
fund money.
The bishop
spoke warmly of his experiences with the club: "I know
that this club has enabled many young people to develop
the talents, qualities and self confidence that are
important elements of a healthy growth in Christian
values."
